International Symposium on Forest Tree Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (FTMB2018) will be held in Harbin, China, on July 24–26, 2018. The FTMB2018 Symposium is dedicated to gathering scientists from across the globe to present and discuss contemporary research. The subjects include genomics, genetics, epigenetics, regulatory components, biochemistry, plant-soil microbiome interactions, integrative omic analysis, novel transgenesis/biotechnology, CRISPR, and other advanced molecular and omic tools to study tree growth and development, including cell-type and wood formation, tree-biotic and -abiotic interactions, and specific traits for industrial utilization. The symposium includes oral presentations, poster presentations, and poster awards. The oral presentations are invited and selected from the submitted abstracts, with the selection priority on junior scientists. The Symposium also provides an open relaxed setting for scientific networking, mentoring, and collaborative research discussions.
